During my walks in Zeist with Siena and Giulia, our "Bracco Italiano" hunting dogs, we visit the most beautiful country estates.

The Stichtse Lustwarande stretches from De Bilt to Rhenen and was once a refuge for wealthy merchants and bankers who fled their polluted homes and cities in the summer for fresh air.

Each walk, illustrated with many photos that can be found in the photo gallery, I share something about the history of these places in Zeist, as well as personal stories and what I've experienced.
