During my walks in Zeist with Siena and Giulia, our “Bracco Italiano” hunting dogs, we come across the most beautiful country estates and country houses.

The Stichtse Lustwarande stretches from De Bilt to Rhenen and was in earlier times a refuge for rich merchants and bankers, who fled their polluted houses and cities in the summer and exchanged them for fresh air.

Every walk I tell, illustrated with many photos that can be found in the photo gallery, something about the history of these places in Zeist, but also personal stories and what I have experienced there.
